Here is, I think a list of my fics to date.

For the record ** means that it's new, or at least new to the fic list.

Edit (04/06/09): I just did a revamp of the list because it was looking a bit cluttered.

Cut because there are too damn many )

So life has been insane and I've not managed a proper post lately. Sadly, life is going to continue to be insane, and it will probably be a while longer before I manage a proper post. I got my schedule for the next few weeks. For the foreseeable future I will be assistant managing two stores an hour and a half apart from each other. The idea was, I'd work three days at the big store, and two at the little one. This was a great idea in theory. In practice, the store managers at both stores utterly fail at communication, so next week I work 6 days, and the next week I work 5, but I barely get enough hours to qualify for full time by company standards. On a happy note, I got my full time benefits package paperwork, sooooo I should theoretically have my raise on my next paycheck. \o/

Also, school started today. I signed up for three classes, neglecting to remember that summer classes are very short, so you do two weeks of work for every one week in a normal semester. It's a little overwhelming to look at, but I'm pretty good at working things in, and there aren't any proctored exams, so I think I'll be good, actually.

Still debating on the insane commute vs. moving somewhere I don't want to move front. On that note, I guess I better make a decision soon, as that will decide whether or not I transfer schools and I have to get that sorted out for fall. >:E

Book is still coming along. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 22,000 words plus the stuff I wrote today when work was slow. Damn, but I am going to miss working at a store small enough to write on my shifts sometimes.

So this is only really worth mentioning because usually original projects with me, I get like.... 500 words in and quit, or I obsess over characters for a week and then get bored. This book I've been haphazardly working on. I officially have 17,498 words as of 5 minutes ago. So \o/

That being said, I am off to sleep. Eventually I will finish my fandom stuff. Promise.

Today was actually pretty epic on all fronts. I've not talked about it much, because I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get it, but a position opened up in my company which would have been a big step up for me. I interviewed for it, and expected that because the manager making the hiring decision had never met me, only spoke with me over the phone, that there was no way I was getting it. Apparently, though, she put in to the district manager to get my sales numbers and track record, and she called me today to offer me the job, with a bigger raise than she'd originally promised. It's going to be a hellish commute until my lease is up (an hour and a half each way), but the offer is far too good for me to turn down. I am epically excited.

Also, today we actually got to see Shawn (Steve's son). The visits are few and far between because his ex-wife, Leanna seems to not understand that court orders actually do mean something. >:E Steve didnt' have a lawyer when it was written, and sort of got hosed into this awful visitation ruling where he gets to see Shawn once a month, supposedly supervised by Leanna.

So, today, Leanna was not there. In her stead she sent her mother, grandmother, and aunt, so we had this like... army of irritating fake nice women who I very much want to set on fire after today. We went to this indoor play place. It had a giant indoor playground where both Shawn and Alexis had a blast. I chased Alexis while Steve hung out with Shawn. There's an arcade to, so we traded off so I could get to know my soon to be step-son (who is incredibly sweet and adorable by the way).

Actually, if not for the ex-in-laws, everything would have been epic. It still mostly was, in all honesty. Leanna's mother, though, felt it necessary to follow Steve around when I was with Alexis, trying to tell him how Leanna, the woman whose let him see his kid twice in the last year, cleaned out his bank account, and divorced him is still in love with him. When he blew her off, they started setting into me, like if they could find some way that Leanna was better than me, that might have whatever effect they were going for.

First, there was the "what do you do for a living?" grill. Now, that might have been effective if Leanna hadn't quit nursing school when she divorced Steve and wasn't working at Walmart, or if I wasn't very, very happy with my occupation. It pleased me probably more than it should to tell them that I'm management with a company I love. I would like to add to that that there is absolutely nothing wrong with working at Walmart. I used to do it. I wouldn't consider it a career, though, and if they were looking for a way to undermine what I am doing with my life, they certainly picked the wrong avenue for comparison.

So then there was the "accidental" insults. Now, the last time I saw Leanna's grandmother, I was five months pregnant with Alexis. Also, let me preface this by saying that while I'm not exactly skinny, I'm considerably more fit than Leanna or her mother, aunt, or grandmother. So, I'm off playing at the arcade with Shawn, who insisted on "teaching" me how to play the video games. The grandmother is all, "So, are you pregnant again?" When I told her no, she goes, "Are you sure? I mean, you really look pregnant. The last time it turned out that you were." It was only for Steve and Shawn's sake that I didn't ask if that meant she had twins on the way...

That being said, I've been rambling way more than I meant to. Shawn was great, and aside from that, the visit was spectacular. Eventually, I will stop being lazy long enough to upload pictures of the day. Hopefully the court hearing in August will straighten this mess out and alleviate similar situations in the future.

Okay, so I think I officially ordered too much stuff and I'm sort of out of room in my closet for my inventory. I decided to do a sale to clear some of it out and figured I'd extend it to you guys in addition to my customers. The list under the cut is just about everything I have in stock right this second. The pricing I've put on there is %60 of retail, shipping is free. If you want more info on any of the products, you can find it here.

First of all, apparently, the best cure for a slump in writing is to complain about it in a post. I'm working on something now, and should hopefully have it up soon. :D

On another note, a while back, my dad pestered me to set up an account on a karaoke site he's on. I was telling a friend about it (can't remember who, now), and she asked me to post some of the songs I did, so... I am :F Feel free to point and laugh. XD

Edit: I realized after posting that the players are big, and I don't want to eat people's f-lists, so both the songs I posted are under the cut.

So, I discovered www.sweet-charity.net once upon a time like... a year and a half ago or something, and I kept meaning to volunteer for it and always somehow missed the deadline. They're doing their very last one as we speak, and finally I got my sorry ass around in time to sign up, so I am auctioning off fic to the highest bidders. I'm not sure how to link to it, but all the details on the fic I'm offering are here if you scroll down on the tiny search bar to "fiction". There are some other FMA authors there, too, some pretty darn great ones, in fact. ^_^ Anyway, the auction goes to the end of the month, I believe, and I just figured I'd do my bit to help out. If I remember correctly, all proceeds go to RAINN

Comment on this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

Cut because I was dumb and couldn't resist asking most of my friends who did the meme, so I have answers to four different ones. XD )

You are in touch with both your feminine and masculine sides.

You're sensitive at the right times, but you don't let your emotions overwhelm you.

You're not a eunuch, just the best of both genders.

Sorry for the double post, guys. I promised pics of my dress once I had them uploaded, though, so here they are! I'm going to be adding off the shoulders pieces (think Belle's ballgown from Beauty and the Beast) and red beading, and I'm wearing opera length gloves with it. :D

Fandom: FMA
Pairing: RoyxEd
Author: [info]inugrlrayn
Rating: NC-17
Author's Note: I did a meme a little while back offering fic to the first few responders. This would be the Roy/Ed smut [info]amethyst_koneko asked for.
Summary: Ed's having a naughty dream... much to Roy's discomfort.

Roy tried to reason with him, but had gotten something incoherent in answer, that hadn’t resulted in Ed moving.  )

This looked like fun and also I'm too lazy to do a rl post right now.

Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in - it can be anything from the houses I live in to my favorite shoes. Leave your choice here as a comment, and I will reciprocate by taking the pictures and posting them as an LJ entry. Ask as for as many as you want.

I was looking over my LJ this morning and realized that, aside from lambasting you all with way tmi in that sex meme, I've not really posted anything lately that wasn't fic or fic related. Actually, there's a reason for that, honest. I tend to try to stick to the positive, and there was a lot of bad stuff going on that I didn't really want to bleed into my update. The worst, however, is over, and I think I can talk about at least some of what was going on because at least it has a happy ending.

Cut for a long story about my car and almost losing my license, and blathering about my new pet writing project )
